Theramex welcomes last night’s Channel 4 documentary: ‘Davina McCall: Sex, Myths and The Menopause’. Whilst uncomfortable viewing at times, we believe that bringing the reality of the menopause into mainstream conversation is the best way to empower women to seek the support they need. We would like to thank Davina McCall for using her platform to further this cause.
Last years’ HRT shortages only exacerbated the challenges women faced in accessing appropriate care. At Theramex, we have worked tirelessly across our portfolio to ensure that this does not happen again.
Last night also highlighted the need for education for our Healthcare Professionals (HCP) to give them to confidence to offer the right solution to every woman. We are committed to supporting HCP education until every GP has the tools they need to support their patients.
Enabling every woman, regardless of geography, to have access the support they need during the menopause, will require the combined efforts of patients, healthcare professionals, activists, policy makers and the pharmaceutical industry. We are proud to be a part of this effort.
