Theramex, the global specialty pharmaceutical company dedicated to women’s health, is pleased to announce the appointment of Robert Stewart as Chief Executive Officer, effective 9^th March 2020. Anish Mehta has decided to step down as CEO for personal reasons, but will work with Robert to ensure a smooth transition over the coming months.

Anish has successfully completed the first phase of the carve-out of Theramex from Teva. He has created a strong foundation for the business focused on enabling women across the globe to live happier and healthier lives, with the help of Theramex products. Robert and the team will continue to build on these strong foundations in the next chapter, to drive best-in-class commercial execution, and the successful delivery of the Company’s strategic ambition to continue to serve as a lifetime partner for women, and their healthcare practitioners.

Prior to joining Theramex, Robert was formerly the CEO of Amneal, a $1.7bn global turnover pharma business with 225+ products sold in markets across the globe, and an employee base of 6,000+. He also served as Group COO of Allergan, where he garnered a wealth of experience in women’s health, aesthetics, specialty and branded generics, all of which he brings to bear in his new role at Theramex.
